About Me
My name is Andrea Hummel and I am currently a fourth-year undergraduate student at the University of Florida pursuing degrees in International Studies and French and Francophone Studies as well as a minor in Greek Studies. I am immensely passionate about civil and humans rights, foreign service, and public policy. Following my graduation in May of 2023, I will be attending Sciences Po's Paris School of International Affairs in the pursuit of a Master in Human Rights and Humanitarian Action with specializations in diplomacy and gender studies.
Whether it be working for a non-governmental organization, an international organization, or a national administration, I aim to transcend borders, politics, and cultures to address human rights issues through methods of policy, diplomacy, international education, and research.

This portfolio was designed to showcase my global academic and professional experience as the final component of the International Scholars Program at UF, and I invite you to browse through it to see all I have learned throughout my time as an undergraduate student.
Studying both Modern Greek and French has been such a highlight of my past four years at the University of Florida. Learning a foreign language opens your mind to new perspectives and ways of thinking as well as enables you to connect with others in a whole other manner

Hobbies
In addition to traveling and learning languages, I adore music. I have great experience in live music performance, as I was a freelance vocalist and guitarist in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area from 2016-2019
