Communication
Adaptability
Time-management

My on-campus leadership experiences, my global internship, and my study abroad experience residing with a host family have all enabled me to greatly develop my communication skills. My role as Assistant Activities Vice President for the Panhellenic Council's Executive Board at the University of Florida required me to maintain consistent communication with the additional members of the Executive Board to ensure our responsibilities were successfully fulfilled. Additionally, through my role as an intern at L.E.S.S., I further developed my communication skills by discussing my projects with my supervisor as well as with the internship coordinator at the Sant'Anna Institute. Finally, through my study abroad experience residing with a host family in Paris, France, I improved upon my communication skills in French, as I was fully immersed in the language. Furthermore, my global experiences have enabled me to develop my communication skills with people of different cultural backgrounds.

Through my study abroad experiences, I have further developed my adaptability skills. During my time as a student in Paris, France, I commuted to my classes via the metro and resided with a host family. Adjusting to a new culture, language, and living environment helped me become more adaptable to foreign situations. Additionally, in my global internship, my responsibilities ranged from remote work, to commuting to the office to observe daily activities, to commuting to additional locations in the city of Naples to attend community outreach workshops. This variety in my day-to-day responsibilities enabled me to further develop my skills in adaptability and be prepared to complete any task required.

In balancing my coursework at the University of Florida with my extracurriculars and involvement, I considerably developed my time-management skills. Certain semesters I was enrolled in 15-16 credit hours of coursework, while actively participating in 3-4 different organizations on campus. Learning to time-manage well has enabled me to fulfill all of my commitments. Furthermore, during my global internship, I commuted a little over an hour to Naples, Italy from Sorrento via the Circumvesuviana train. As this train notoriously runs off schedule, I was required to manage my time well in order to arrive at the office on-time.
